A “functional design” collection of knives.
The continuous and silent analysis of daily actions and consumption trends has driven Tiziano Paulon to create a collection of single-material -steel- artefacts, most of them manufactured with a monobloc structure (a single sheet of steel).
Knives, bottle-openers, ice tongs, spaghetti tongs, salad servers, cake slicer, napkin-rings, tablemats, envelope openers, key-rings. Single-sheets of stainless-steel transformed in elegant and harmonious forms which assure high functionality.
Tiziano Paulon’s creative and innovative skill has been awarded with prizes several times, both with the acknowledgement of an European patent (“Safeknife” range) and with the achievement of some international contests such as “Maniago Design” and “Design & Innovation” (promoted by the “Italian Design Association” and the British Company “Dyson” during the “Milano Triennale”).
The excellence of the style, the technique and the innovation has been recognized by some experts of contemporary and future design: Tiziano Paulon and his collection of “artefacts of functional design” has been invited by the organizing committee of very famous events such as “ICD Italian Classic Design 2005-2006”, “Luxury & Yacths 2006”, “Pitty Living 2006” (at Fuorisalone in Milano), “Taste 2007” (at Stazione Leopolda in Firenze).
The excellence of effectiveness and functionality of SAFEKNIFE and TECNOKNIFE has been recognized by some well known Chefs who regularly buy them. The reliability of these collections as real aid to both professional and amateur Chefs has been recently “prized” by the organizing committee of "Jeunes Restaurateurs d' Europe" meeting (Abano Terme, January 2007) and “Vinitaly 2007” (Verona) where SAFEKNIFE knives have been used during food preparation (Technical Partnership).
